Troy's more feminine side

Mazzy use to throw serious temper tantrums when I would attempt to do her hair. Now she tolerates it. But her allowing me to do her hair is nothing to how she relishes the attention from Troy when he makes a sculpture out of her tiny profile.


These are the fruits of his labors. Unfortunately she gets over the end product quickly.

Colby's School Picture

This is Colby's school picture this year! We splurged and got a 'real haircut' the morning of and this is how he told the stylist to do his hair. He tries to replicate it every day a few times a day. Love the MAN!

Fleeing the Flu

We could not decide what to do Saturday between the gloomy weather and the Swine Flu Pandemic. So we took to Mt. Diablo for a wet expedition.
The timer on our camera takes better pictures than I do 90% of the time.

This is Colby's Creature. The boys were set on finding fire-bellied salamanders but I don't even know if they exist. The moth would have to do.

Gavin loved the bark on this little tree and insisted on a photo op.

The kids and Troy squeezed into a hole for me.

Rocks have many advantages and disadvantages.
