For the past two weeks we have been in Utah. It feels like it was more like 2 months. The first week I was there with the kids while Troy worked. It was a lot of fun catching up with family and friends. We went to the Hogle Zoo. Swam at my Aunts pool. Hung out with Grandma Gert and celebrated my cousin Sara's 23 birthday.
Mazzy and Grandma Gert!
Gavin and Colby running through the fountains at Gateway in SLC. Why don't we have anything like that in Cali?
Riding the Merry go Round at Hogle Zoo.
The second week was the 2nd annual MacDonald Family Reunion in Park City. Everyone kept asking me what we would be doing in Park City for a week. Personally I had no doubt there would be plenty of events for the entire week.
On Tuesday we took a tour bus around Park City. It was a big hit with the kids.
This is a picture of everyone but me because I am the photographer.
I love this picture of Robb and Dalee's little girl Venice. She has the most beautiful blue eyes ever!
This is a good one of Robb, Troy, Ladd and some of their kids.
Nanna had a lot of fun with Dane and Elena's oldest, Amanda.
Troy and Mazzy are looking more and more alike. No wonder Troy thinks she is the cutest little girl he ever saw!
On Wednesday we went to 7 Peaks as a family.
I actually brought the pack n play so Mazzy could nap in the middle of the day. I didn't think two would fit but Venice and Mazzy turned out to be great bunk mates.
Elena and her youngest daughter Nikki.
Colby got really tired by the end of the day and needed a place to sit down and catch his breath. Mazzy's seat was just the right size and in 2 seconds he was out.
We went out for Mexican Food in Provo after a great day at the slides.
Thursday was a bit of a break so I decided to meet up with an old friend from Texas days and drug my two sisters in law, Jen & Danielle, and met up with Barbie and went on a wild goose chase that ended up in Lehi at some random community center to see my friend for about 45 minutes before she had another appointment. We did end up swimming for a while and Gavin went off his first high dive. Later we went to Thanksgiving Point to the petting zoo and then to Cabellas to hit the shooting range. That was a 'down time' day.
On Friday, Colby found his own slice of Heaven on the Heber Creeper. He remembered it from last year and was asking when we would go on again for the past 6 months. I knew Poppy would not let him down!
Mazzy got to play in a different hot tub than the one she is use to at home. There was no adjustment.
The final day we were able to go on the Alpine Slides as a family minus 'The Maz'. Merrily was kind enough to babysit so Troy and I could go down each with one boy. It was one of the highlights for sure.
Gavin made my day because he insisted on going with me! Usually he would rather be with Troy.
We had a great trip and are excited for next year. However, it is good to be home!

What a great, fun-filled trip! Geez, I'm worn out from reading it! Sooo fun!
Did I notice some Cafe Rio action? I'm soooo jealous!
ahhhh...I miss your family already :( thanks for the pictures. we have been having Maz, Colby, Gavin withdrawls over here. I think my favorite picture is the bus picture. great that we can fill a bus with a baby on every lap.
Oh, I wish we could've been there at the same time! We leave on the 23rd. But someday, we'll have to coordinate our schedules! :)
love you! miss you!

Oh, so fun to see you and your precious kids. It was a little slice of heaven to have a morning to hang with you guys. Looks like Park City was awesome!
Miss you already -

It was so awesome seeing you guys, all your cute kids. Well worth all the chaos!
holy cow! what a fun time! look at all those beautiful people. I love that there are millions of littles. I hope to see you soon--I just bought tickets!
See, Utah is cool too, right? :) Sophie loves the Gateway. She tries to stick her feet in the water, but it is so powerful, I have to help her a little bit. Your kids are getting so big...we like to check in on you every now and then.
